Heller-Wexler Family Camps 2023

The Heller-Wexler Family Camp Series, created through the generosity of Robert and Amy Heller, shape and frame the Shabbat experience through hands-on programs and activities that explore the joys and challenges of family life through a Jewish lens. Created to address the growing challenges and changing face of the modern Jewish family, the Family Camps provide opportunities for families to enjoy quality time together while meeting other families and sharing experiences that make these weekends unforgettable!

After a two-year hiatus due to COVID, we are back with our popular Family Ski Weekend. During this 2022-2023 school year, this is the only Family Camp we will be able to offer. Our plan is to come roaring back with several Family Camp options for the 2023-2024 school year.

Family Ski Weekend - January 14 – 16, 2023

For families with children currently in Grades K-10

Enjoy a family weekend at camp and on the slopes at nearby Ski Butternut, Massachusetts’s number one ski resort! We’ll begin on Saturday morning with a kid-friendly Shabbat experience, and then we’ll enjoy an action-packed day of sports, crafts, games, family-challenges and more. Our superstar counselors will be on hand for some kids-only activities and to provide childcare in the evenings during parent-only time in Manor House.

On Sunday, we'll hit the slopes at Ski Butternut. Activities will resume at camp with dinner and continue into the evening. On Monday, we'll hit the slopes again and then head home directly from Ski Butternut.

This Family Camp is perfect for families who want to try skiing for the first time, for advanced skiers, and everybody in between. Families will make their own arrangements directly with Ski Butternut for classes, lift tickets, snowboarding, equipment rental, etc. All money for any of the above will be paid directly to Ski Butternut by each family.
